Very exciting stuff going on… I am moving back to downtown Toronto after 2 years of world travels and 1 year of bunking with the ‘rents.  My bank account is gasping in response, but I nervously hope it will all be worth it!

In other Toronto news, the lovely Stephan Valent has kindly posted to our brand new Toronto Illustrators blog, and I thought I should share the fun event he is spreading the word on.  Looks very cool to me!  I heart T.O.

Thank you Fiona, for putting together this video as a memorial to our beautiful friend Tonia Monaco, who passed away June 19th after a long battle with cancer.

Tonia has truly been an angel in my life, offering me a lot of love and support in the few years I was lucky enough to know her. She was always there, smiling, laughing and loving me, and letting me love her in return. She never judged or got annoyed with me, even when I was being a total moron.

Tonia, I am so grateful to have had you in my life.  I wish it could have been a longer friendship, but I am glad you can rest peacefully now.  I miss you, always.

Stumbled across this while surfing today, and since my life with a 4 year old is all about Disney, it made me grin… Click the image to see more.

In life news, I’ve been sick for the last 5 days and feeling quite sorry for myself.  I am longing for the days of lying around sick in bed, watching movies, sleeping, and taking it easy.  The life of an adult means having to work, change diapers, feed kids, and play… even when you really just want silence your mommy to look after you!
