It’s Friday! Yay!
Friday, October 2nd, 2009Well, Fall is certainly upon us here in the currently grey and cloudy Toronto. In my mind, I call it “Autumn” and add that dozy, Martha Stewart hum to it whilst (whilst!) imagining the smell of hot apple cider with cinnamon curling up from a steaming mug cupped between chilled hands half covered by woolen sweater sleeves. Snort!
But seriously, as I sit in my overheated apartment (darned building-controlled radiators) flipping between uncomfortably hot to open-window draft-chilly, I long for summer and eat watermelon. Yum! This weekend I’m looking forward to a girlie day of getting my hair cut at Toni & Guy (never been, but it has great reviews) and then a chick-flick with Tina, followed by yummy eats at one of Toronto’s finest.
Work has been wonderful and cRaZy lately. I love my job. I reeeaaaaalllly love it! I mean seriously… I draw pictures all day! It’s fantastic!

P.S. Can you believe that Van Morrison thinks “Brown Eyed Girl” is a “boring” song! I guess you’d have to be forced to sing it millions of times to think that. I wonder if George Harrison had a secret hatred for “Here Comes the Sun”? Nah. Not possible!
